Service Opportunities

Providing service to other members is vital to the survival of our organization and for your personal recovery. S.L.A.A. offers a variety of service opportunities in your homegrown or at the Intergroup level.

What can I do in my home group?

Members volunteer to do a variety of things. Here are some examples of how you can be of service to others:

  • Welcome new comers
  • Chair a meeting
  • Read one of the provided meeting prayers
  • Read the Twelve Steps
  • Read the Characteristics of an S.L.A.A. addict
  • Read the 12 Traditions
  • Assist in collecting donations
  • Attend monthly business meetings and volunteer for a position (treasurer, secretary, speaker seeker, meeting administrator etc)

What can I do at Intergroup?

Intergroup is an assembly of representatives from the Ontario area S.L.A.A. groups whose purpose is to provide information and outreach to those seeking help with sex and love addiction.

Intergroup is managed by representatives from various groups throughout Ontario and is run by volunteers. For more information on the positions we have available, we invite you to read the bylaws, or contact us at slaaonigsecretary@gmail.com for more information.
